The Arizona AFL-CIO is the state's labor federation representing 185,000 union members through over 200 local union affiliates. We pay particular attention to matters of direct concern to union members, as well as a broad range of issues from worker’s compensation, job safety, and workplace fairness to public education, environmental, climate issues and achieving living wages.

The AZ AFl-CIO is also a leading political force in the state with it's endorsements of political candidates, positions on ballot measures and direct lobbying of elected officials at every level of goverment.
