Vic Peterson

Vic Peterson| Vice President of the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans

Vic Peterson is a strong voice at the Arizona legislature in his efforts to protect programs and funding that impact older Arizonans, especially veterans.

He served 22 years in the US Air Force, including service in Vietnam and Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Southern Watch, and Enduring Freedom. He also served as a Mine Safety and Health Inspector and National Mine Rescue Team Member employed by the US Department of Labor.

In 2019, Vic was inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame. He is currently a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees, the Arizona State Legislature Veterans Caucus, Senator Gallego’s Veterans Council, and Representative Ansari's Veterans Advisory Committee. He is well-known in the community for his dedicated volunteer efforts with veteran and community organizations and for his commitment to standing in solidarity with Arizona’s labor unions.
